The Sacred Heart Parish runs a programme for children in school year 3 or above. Children work with experienced lay catechists in small groups. The parents of children meet with Father Kevin Dring, Parish Priest. The parents and children sessions run on Saturday mornings from 9.30 to 11.00am. There are nine sessions starting in September and finishing in the following June.
The children use the popular I Belong book and the parents have an explanatory Parents’ book which includes material for the parents and carers of children with learning difficulties.
