“Love one another, as I have loved you” (Jn.15: 12)
A very warm welcome to our Sacred Heart parish website. We are a vibrant and welcoming community of over 600 worshippers here in the centre of Hove.
As a Roman Catholic Parish we belong to the Deanery of Brighton & Hove, the Diocese of Arundel & Brighton and the Universal Church under the leadership of Pope Francis. Our doors are open to welcome all who wish to join us for our Sunday services.
We also value greatly building good relationships with other Christian churches locally, other religions and the wider community of which we are part. St Augustine said 1500 years ago that “Our hearts are restless, until they rest in God!”.Read More

Testimonies from Adults Baptised / Confirmed at Easter (RCIA Group 2014)
"The course is a relaxed, friendly and good-humoured introduction to the Catholic faith. It focuses around some clear teaching from Fr Kevin and his team and includes plenty of time for questions and discussion. Sessions are well taught, lucid, and not overly dogmatic and also benefitted from plenty of humour!" Oliver
"An amazing, powerful journey of self-discovery through the learning of Jesus’ life and God’s love for us. Filled with emotions. A wonderful sharing experience. Will stay with me forever. Made some wonderful friends." Step
"Well the RCIA meetings personally were brilliant, it changed my life and understanding and I am very grateful to Fr Kevin for taking the time to teach me and baptise me. It is very interesting and I really enjoyed it. Thanks again!" Tilly
